Happy Monday!!! Thanksgiving is literally a couple days away. Do you know what you are wearing?? I sometimes wait the last minute to figure out my outfits for a holiday or big occasion. So in this post, I will be sharing last-minute casual Thanksgiving outfits.
Thanksgiving is all about feasting and being around family and friends. Often time the setting is in someone’s home, so no need to dress to the nines for a family gathering. You can create a stylish, but casual outfit for the occasion. Plus with all the food consumption that day, there is no need to wear anything formal or tight fitting.
So here are some comfy and stylish outfits that are perfect for your family’s turkey day!!!
Outfit #1: Sweater and comfy boots. After eating all that delicious Turkey and all the fixin’s; a stylish and loose-fitting sweater is the perfect piece to cover a food baby!!! Choose a festive color like a rust orange or an olive green. Throw on some comfortable ankle boots or a cute hat for the perfect topper to the outfit.
Outfit #2: Wear all black and add a third layering piece!!! An all-black outfit is universally slimming for everyone. Who does not want to appear slim after all that food intake??? (I do!!!) To add personality to the outfit add a third layering piece like a cardigan or blazer. I chose this long duster vest that just added the perfect touch to this outfit and over the knee boots. Casual, yet stylish and chic outfit.
Outfit #3: Last casual outfit that is perfect for a Thanksgiving dinner is wearing a dress!! Try a long dress with some stretch and add a cute scarf for the perfect accessory. Dresses are easy to throw on and paired with sneakers or an ankle boot will add a casual vibe to the look.
Here are my last minute casual Thanksgiving outfits. I hope these outfits inspire you to figure out what you will be wearing for Thanksgiving. I love casual outfits, but don’t equate casual with sloppy. No matter how you dress, you should always have style in mind when creating an outfit. I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy our feast!!!
