Hi, guys!! I hope everyone is doing well. I mentioned in a previous blog post that I don’t like to do trends. Part of the reason is they do not last very long and everyone is wearing the same thing!! But with this particular blouse, it fits in perfectly with my classic style and can be added to your wardrobe and worn for years to come!! It is the pussy-bow blouse!!. They can also be called neck-tie blouses as well, but the style is very similar. There is no mystery why this blouse is hitting the streets everywhere! It is simple in design and has a classic element: the bow!! It is considered the working woman’s equivalent to a men’s neck tie.

At one time pussy-bow blouses were seen only in corporate and business offices. However, women have been seen rocking them with jeans, skirts, wearing them with blazers (one of my favorite looks), and they even have dresses!! I purchased this one in h&m a couple of months ago, and I was instantly drawn to the bright yellow mustard color. I loved the billowy material and cuff detail on the sleeves making it a classic addition to my closet.  At the time, I thought the bow was a nice accent, which portrayed a chic and classic vibe. Who knew it would be the next hottest item in the fashion world!!

I styled this blouse with black skinny jeans, a pair of leopard print heels, and a structured sleek black bag. This outfit can easily be worn to work.  The yellow and leopard print compliment each other very well in this outfit.

Style Tip: Half tuck the shirt into your pants. It will give the outfit a laid back feel.  To do this:

1. Grab the bottom of the blouse, but only in the front.
2. Tuck it only a couple of inches.
3. Make sure the rest of the blouse that is out is smoothed out!!
